Thad Smith

A midwest boy from Kansas City, MO, Thad went on to complete his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the University of Central Florida. While there, he was able to work and be influenced by Peter Voulkos, Peter Callas, Johann Eyfells and Robert Rivers - all of whom were influential on his future creative process. Following university, Thad was based in New Orleans working in photography throughout the country before moving to the Bay Area - where he now calls home.

A dedicated father, husband, and teacher, Thad also finds time to create new pieces of art that connect to nature, the analog days of his youth, and his love of music. You’ll find moments of these influences throughout his creations, whether on paper, canvas, or t-shirt.
